Abstract
In this paper, we model the Dual Hop RF/FSO channel using Mixture Gamma distribution on the RF side and Double Generalized Gamma distribution on the FSO side. We derive the cumulative CDF for end-to-end SNR in terms of the Fox-H function. Later using this CDF, system performance is analyzed in terms of Outage Probability for Rayleigh and Nakagami-m distribution as special cases of Mixture Gamma distribution on the RF side under moderate and strong turbulence conditions. Simulation Results are showing well agreement with those available in the literature.
