Abstract
CT technology development has always been driven by clinical needs, and the development of multislice CT is no exception. This chapter starts with an explanation of the clinical drivers and then presents different configurations of multislice detector designs. Different ways of performing image reconstructions (2D, 3D, axial, and helical) are then discussed, followed by detailed descriptions of different image artifacts linked to multislice CT.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
