Abstract
This report lays the necessary ground work for a systematic study of the stability of current-sheared (plywood model) planar, plasma pinches. The analysis will be carried out using a 'multi-stream', one-dimensional simulation. Details of a finite-element optimization scheme which may eventually be applied to increase the efficiency of the simulation are also provided. (GRA)
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
