Abstract

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (505 aa, ~58 kDa) is encoded by the human PPARG gene. This protein plays a role in transcriptional regulation, lipid metabolism, cell differentiation, glucose homeostasis and apoptosis.
