Abstract

The Fourth Annual NASA Geodynamics Conference and Program Review was held January 26–29, 1982, at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, Maryland. These conferences are held every year, in January, to discuss scientific results obtained from the use of space and related methods in geodesy and geodynamics [NASA, 1982; Flinn, 1981.] This year there were about 250 registrants, and 90 technical papers were presented. Technical sessions were held on crustal movements, earth structure, polar motion and earth rotation, gravity and magnetic field results, laser ranging and longbaseline microwave interferometry (VLBI) systems status, and advanced systems development.
