Abstract

Conference Theme: "The Uses of Psychiatric Epidemiology in Improving Population Mental Health" IFPE is an international organization devoted to the pro-motion of epidemiological and health services research on mental disorders.Founded in 1985, it is an independent, non-profit association relying entirely on annual subscription fees.There are corporate, individual, and associate members.Corporate members include national associations of psychiatric epidemiology in Canada, France, Italy, Nordic countries, Spain and Switzerland, and the Section of Epidemiology, Institute of Psychiatry, London.Individual or corporate membership applications should be made in writing to the President, Professor Johannes Wancata.The 14th International Congress of IFPE will held in cooperation with the German Association for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Nervenheilkunde -DGPPN) and the German Society for Epidemiology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Epidemiologie -DGEpi).
