Abstract Ausgehend von (I), (IV) und (V) werden die Benzimidazole (III) und (VI) dargestellt, von denen im Ratten‐ 87 ödemtest der Vertreter (VII) eine rößere antiinflammatorische Wirkung als Phenylbutazon besitzt.
