Abstract
In view of the lack of adequate data on the proper dosage of antitoxin in clinical tetanus, a comparison of two doses was undertaken. Patients were allotted at random after diagnosis to receive 200,000 I.U. or 50,000 I.U. antitoxin. Altogether 293 cases were included. Analysis of the results indicates that the lower dose is as effective as the higher.
