Abstract

In this chapter we show you the Web API feature added in ASP.NET 4.5, which allows for the easy creation of web services. We show you how to create a web service and consume it using jQuery and Ajax requests. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
