Abstract

We derive analytical forms for resonance lineshapes in two-dimensional Fourier transform spectroscopy. Applying the projection-slice theorem of 2D Fourier transforms provides diagonal and cross-diagonal lineshapes in the 2D frequency data for arbitrary inhomogeneity.
