Spectral Theory of Integral Operators

Israel Gohberg, Seymour Goldberg

Open publisher page 4 citations

Abstract

Using the theory developed in Chapter III, we now present the fundamental theorems of the spectral theory of self adjoint integral operators. This chapter also contains the spectral theory of differential operators of the Sturm-Liouville type. Integral operators which describe certain physical systems are studied in the next chapter. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
