Abstract

The Great Apes would have been differentiated in the forests of the West, whereas in the East, the Hominidae would have evolved in a savannah environment. Unlike modern man (H. sapiens), the only human representative on the Earth, the biological history of the Hominidae, bushy evolution and nonlinear, has gathered a large number of fossil species, some of which have coexisted together. The evolutionary history of true bipeds began with the Australopithecus group of the family Hominidae, a link between the Primates of the Miocene and the species of the genus Homo of the Pliocene. The migrations concerning the pivotal period of the Hominidae did not go beyond the African continent and were only known in certain regions. While H. ergaster was typically African, Neanderthals were considered to be European and classical Near Eastern.
