Abstract
A new driving method and circuit layout is proposed to reduce the cost of a plasma display panel (PDP). The proposed driving method, which uses only two electrodes in a three-electrode type AC-PDP, can reduce the cost of the driving circuits by 25%, thereby achieving a low cost AC-PDP.
