Abstract

This article presents the application of Realtime Nonlinear Model Predictive Control (NMPC) for Wave Energy Converters (WEC) with a nonstandard cost index. The proposed technique's applications are presented to maximize the energy produced by a Wave Energy Converter (WEC).
