Abstract
Abstract A novel interpretation of the emergence of Marxian theoretical system, starting from the forerunners of socialist thought. The problem of the transformation of values into production prices is analysed in the light of modern economic theory. The laws of movement of the capitalist economy according to Marx are critically examined.
