Abstract

This article discusses the diagnosis and treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis (PAR). Patients in group 1 were prescribed monotherapy (azelastine nasal spray (Allergodil)), patients in group 2 were prescribed combined therapy (azelastine nasal spray in combination with intranasal corticosteroids (fluticasone)). The study confirmed the higher efficacy of combined use of azelastine (Allergodil) and intranasal corticosteroid in patients with PAR compared with monotherapy with azelastine (Allergodil).
