Abstract

Sequentially administering amisulpride and clozapine resulted in remission of early schizophrenia symptoms, with no improvement over that when patients switched to olanzapine, researchers found. Therefore, they recommended using clozapine after failure of a single antipsychotic, not after two failures, as is currently recommended.
