“Trujillo :: Homecoming” is a translingual inner dialogue about returning to one’s hometown after a long time. It is a poem which seeks to reflect not only on estrangement but change. “The Secret” deals with the silence and prejudices that often surround a woman’s body as a topic of conversation.
