Abstract

Values are tabulated for the relevant physicochemical properties of dichloromethane and the most important properties of this solvent are discussed. Examples of typical electrochemical studies in dichloromethane are presented. The impurities present in commercial dichloromethane are listed and a recommended purification method is described.
