An Empirical Representation of Reflection from Rough Surfaces—Part II

Parry Moon, Domina Eberle Spencer

Open publisher page 3 citations

Abstract

Part I introduced empirical equations to express the reflection properties of a class of surfaces. This project is now extended to include diffuse reflection from metal surfaces as a function of roughness. Specular reflection is also included, and examples are given to illustrate the engineering prediction of reflection properties of surfaces that have not yet been measured.
