Abstract
To accommodate more Distribution Generations and improve power supply reliability, the concept of Smart Distribution Grid has been raised. It is the research focus of the smart grid and ensuring reliable power and quality power supply. This paper covers the concept, significance, key technologies, development situation at home and abroad. As the new forms of the SDG, Self-Healing Control (SHC), micro grid (MG), and Advanced Distribution Automation (ADA) is analyzed and compared with each other. Finally, it introduces the trend and new technology in the development of smart distribution grid.
