Abstract
In this paper, the propagation process of electromagnetic wave in plasma with low internal density and high outer layer density is simulated by CST software. The energy distribution of electromagnetic wave is measured by field monitor and it is found that the distribution of plasma can focus electromagnetic wave. With the help of Drude model, this phenomenon is explained. By changing different parameters such as microwave frequency and the form of incident electromagnetic wave (plane wave and wave guide), the properties of focusing effect are investigated. The research of this thesis has reference value for the applications of plasma and electromagnetic wave interaction.
