Circular truncated cone conformal array beamforming based on directional array element

Abstract

This paper studies the capon beamforming optimization method of the circular truncated cone conformal array. According to the characteristics of the conformal array, a deterministic expression describing the beam pattern of the circular truncated cone conformal array with arbitrary weight is derived. In addition, the directional array element is applied to the antenna array, and the synthesis example of the three-dimensional circular truncated cone conformal array is given. Through the analysis of the experimental results, the method in this paper has a better beamforming effect when applied to the circular truncated cone conformal array than the conformal array using omnidirectional elements, and there will be a deeper null in the direction of interference.
