Abstract An expression for optimum bridge parameters is derived for a thermistor in a Wheatstone bridge and numerical values are assigned to determine the useful limits of resistance bridges tor thermistor measurements. Several digital ohmmeters are evaluated as measuring devices and are shown to compare unfavourably with a simple bridge and null detector.
