Abstract

The experiment was conducted at the Department of Horticulture Janta Vedic College Baraut,(Baghpat), U.P. (India) under Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut, U.P. (India), during theperiod of April, 2007 to investigate the effect phosphorus on growth, flowering and bulbyield of tuberose. The experiment consisted of Four levels of phosphorus i.e.P0: 0, P1: 135, P2: 145 and P3: 155 kg P2O5/harespectively and was laid outwith Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. Highest flower (19.3 t/ha) and bulb (24.7 t/ha) yield was recorded from P3 and the lowest flower (9.6t/ha)and bulb(14.5t/ha) yield wasre corded from P0.
