The Impact of Slang Language to Teenager in Indonesia

The research discusses the use of slang among adolescents. The rise of slang users in Indonesian society, if it is always understood, will certainly harm Indonesian language users properly and correctly at this time and in the future. Currently, people have used a lot of slang and what's worse, the younger generation of Indonesia cannot be separated from the use of this slang. It is these young people who use slang more than Indonesian in their daily life. These slang words or terms are usually in the form of a combination of clauses and even in English. With the use of slang, the wearer will be said to be a modern person or a city person and not a less modern area person so that many teenagers use the term slang in their daily communication. Of course, this phenomenon will cause the erosion of the existence of good and correct Indonesian in communication in the community.
