Abstract

Abstract Brief morphological descriptions of new Cladocera taxa (Daphniidae):Daphnia(Daphnia)turbinataSars, 1903;Daphnia (Ctenodaphnia) sinensisGu, Xu, Li, Dumont et Han 2013, found in Lake Baikal are presented. The representatives of these taxa inhabit the littoral zone of the lake and Olkhon Island.Daphnia (Ctenodaphnia) sinensiswere encountered in the water bodies in the south of Eastern Siberia for the first time.
