Abstract
Five children with typical systemic juvenile rheumatoid arthritis have had pruritis associated with rheumatoid rash. This rash is not always nonpruritic. The clinician should not overlook the possibility of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis simply because the patient is scratching his rash.
