Abstract

We give a simple short derivation of the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients, motivated by simple introductory facts of\nquantum angular momentum. The derivation uses only binomial coefficients, eschewing raising- and loweringoperators,\ngroup theory, spinors and calculus.
