Abstract

On purpose of this article is to clarify today's situation of community street. We did the research into local government and the interview with local community members. The conclusions are 1. On one hand, local community have withdrawn from street management and the public service has been supplied by the local government, on the other, local community was reformed as what act mainly in the park. 2. The multiple functions of community street has been simplified by social and spatial transformation of the local community. 3. The separation of the use and the management has occurred. However, the local government tried to revive the multiple functions of the street reforming the spatial design, the participation of local community was not obtained.
