Patterns and achievements of rural poverty reduction and policy suggestions in western areas of China.

This paper expatiates the poverty actuality and the four-stage course of poverty reduction in the western rural areas of China,analyses the patterns of rural poverty reduction innovated by the western areas people,such as push the village forward by participation,characteristic industry development,country tourism development and resettlement development,summarizes the achievement of poverty reduction in western areas.The study finds that the innovation of patterns of rural poverty reduction in the western areas is the guarantee to achieve a good performance of it.Finally,this paper provides many policy recommendations such as innovation of patterns of poverty relief,breaking through the institutional trap of rural poverty reduction,and eliminating the institutional poverty of western areas in China.
