Abstract
Experiments on the reproductive behavior of Nautilus belauensis brought from Palau were carried out in the laboratory, and newly-devised tank was used for this purpose. It was seen that on most occasions, copulation took place successfully, and eggs were laid by the three Nautili. From the observations carried out, copulation lasted between 15 minutes to one hour at the most. Also, copulation took place mostly at night and early morning. The time span of egg spawning was about one hour, and the egg size ranged from 3-4cm in length. It was also noticed that most of the eggs were laid inside of the vessels.
