Section 1 Foundations of occupational health nursing practice: occupational health nursing specialty practice occupational safety and health and occupational health nursing - an overview workers and worker populations legal and ethical issues affecting occupational health nursing practice economic, political and business issues affecting OHN principles of administration and management scientific foundations of occupational health nursing practice. Section 2 Strategies and approaches to occupational health nursing practice: developing, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive occupational health and safety programme recognizing and preventing occupational injury and illnesses direct care in the occupational setting health promotion and adult education examples of occupational health and safety programs. Section 3 Advancing professionalism in occupational health nursing: research professional issues - advancing the specialty.
