Abstract
To solve the scalability problem in Application Level Multicast(ALM) group key management scheme.MGKT,a multi-group key tree based large-scale ALM group key management scheme is proposed. To reduce the communication overhead for group key management,MGKT manages group members in clusters and confines each rekeying operation in one cluster.Analysis and simulation show that MGKT has preferable scalibility without sacrificing security.
