Abstract
Eastwood was invited by Gallery Eleven to participate in a two-person exhibition (along with fellow Artist, David H. Smith). The title of the exhibition, 'Oddities', reflected the range of media and mixture of the work. The exhibition, presented as a mini retrospective of both artists work, consisted of 30 items that included paintings, prints, polaroids, and 2 display cases containing a number of handmade artists books and artefacts from Eastwood’s studio. All of the work that Eastwood exhibited was produced between 2004 and 2011. Some of the prints had been previously exhibited in the USA, Europe, and in the UK. The exhibition brought all of the work together for the first time in one gallery space. Gallery director Rob Moore curated the exhibition, which ran from April 09th to May 21st 2011.
