Abstract
A method is proposed for stabilizing the actuation time delay and the fluctuations of this time delay in an Arkad'ev--Marx generator. The method allows the output voltage of the generator to be varied within limits of approximately 35 percent without controlling the spark gaps and makes it possible to avoid purging the spark gaps during operation.
