Abstract

During the year 2005, four numbers of Mola \nmola were encountered along the Tuticorin \nCoast in Gulf of Mannar, of which three \nnumbers landed at Thiruvaikulam, a fishing \nhamlet 15 kms north of Tuticorin, and one \nspecimen landed at Kayalpatnam, another \nfishing village 40 km south of Tuticorin.
