Abstract
This is the fourth annual report of the utilization of people-related Navy RDT&E. It includes examples of both utilization and technology base advancement, primarily from FY 80. The examples are organized within four technical areas: Manpower and Personnel, Human Factors Engineering, Education and Training, and Simulation and Training Devices. Each example is discussed in terms of Need, Performing Activity and Program Element, Approach and Results, Utilization/Technology Base Advance, and Payoff/Potential.
