Abstract
A new and better model for mixotrophic growth of a microalga is presented; the most important advantage it has over former ones is in its independent modelling of autotrophic and heterotrophic components of growth, takinginto account the hypothesis of heterotrophic growth component is closely related to the intake of the organic carbon source, in this case acetate.
