Abstract
The EAST-NBI system is composed of vacuum, power supply, water cooling and other subsystems distributed in different physical locations. Due to the system composition is very complex, there are system integration challenges that need to be solved for on-site control. By adopting the PLC system with Siemens Profibus-DP protocol, the graphical process control of field equipment is developed, which solves the problems of excessive wiring in the system integration of complex control systems and interlocking control of distributed systems, and realizes high-speed data communication between system monitoring, system interlocking and other control functions. The experimental results show that the on-site control system reliably completes the EAST-NBI control task.
