Abstract
In Serbia and neighboring countries, taking together, there are about 30 species of Lepidoptera (most from the family Noctuidae), that damage maize. The paper gives an overview of the most harmful species: Agrotis segetum, Ostrinia nubilalis and Helicoverpa armigera. Shows the biology of species, as well as measures to be applied in order to reduce the damage from them.
