Distinguishing Public Law and Private Law Delicts

Abstract

An article below reviews similarities and differences between public law and private law delicts. Also, it demonstrates a result preconditioned by differences. To better show such differences, Georgian regulations for illegal performance of compensation of damages is compared to that of German. The key difference between public law and private law delicts expresses only in case of one of them, i.e. in case of legal relations preceding the delict; and the article intends to discuss this matter in greater details.
