Abstract

This chapter describes the STAR Frame of Reference (FoR) and STAR PROCESS, an interdisciplinary clinic-based program with parent coaching serving children impacted by differences in sensory integration and processing. The central objective of this relationship-based therapeutic play-based program is to support the development of self-organized, self-directed clients through addressing differences in sensory integration and processing and their impact on relational health and capacity to regulate.
