Research on Software Engineering Talents Cultivation in Application-Oriented University

The cultivation of software engineering talents in application-oriented university is of great significance to the development of software industry and information industry. Based on the analysis of the ideas and the current situation of software engineering specialty in application-oriented universities, this paper explores and practices the cultivation of innovative software engineering talents. Firstly, this paper expounds the industry’s requirements for software engineering talents, constructs software engineering professional training mode, then analyzes curriculum reform based on the cultivation of mathematical thinking, and finally the development path of software engineering specialty in application oriented universities are proposed. By exploring the training mode of software engineering specialty in application-oriented universities, it is beneficial to improve the overall quality of software developers and better serve the regional economic development.
