Abstract

Place attachment is a concept which has been the core of many discussions recently. It can be briefly defined as a linkage between the person and the place. Although place attachment depends on the social issues, considering its place dimensions can help in planning the public spaces of the cities. The most usage of place attachment can be mentioned is safety, security and in the place. Relph, Gifford, Low, Altman, Mazumdar, and Giuliani are the key authors that have studied about this title. The purpose of this paper is to define place attachment and its usage.
