Abstract
This paper analyzes the reasons why the pure electric vehicle can win in the energy transition of vehicles and the reasons why the electric power system will promote the electrification of automobile. A three-phase AC fast charging scheme is proposed for the vehicle electrification. The main changes needed to be made by distribution network for vehicle electrification are discussed.
