Sino-Indianrelations. Part 2 Period Of 1960s During The Cold War

The Part 2 of this study analyzes Sino-Indian relations within the triangular relationship with Pakistan, which from 1960s became a very important, if not the key factor influencing this bilateral relationship de facto until the present time. The second part contains analysis of the border demarcation agreement between China and Pakistan, and its consequences for India. Furthermore it contains analysis of 1962 Sino-Indian war, which marked beginning of deterioration of relations between the two countries, which lasted until the end of Cold War, with negative consequences practically until nowadays. Deterioration of relations in the second half of the 1960s manifested itself in the second Indo-Pakistani war in 1965, Sino-Indian border clashes in 1967, and in the beginning of Sino-Pakistani cooperation in the support of various guerrilla movements with anti-Indian goals.
