Abstract

The „Jajar Legowo 4:1‟ cropping pattern system was the result of an innovation of agricultural technology has been given by the government to increase rice productivity. This research aims to know the comparison Oryza sativa L farming income through the application of the „Jajar Legowo 4:1‟ cropping pattern system and the conventional cropping pattern system (Tegel). This research was carried out in the paddy fields of the Singamerta village, Ciruas District, Serang District. The research‟s results showed revenue, r/c ratio, and test different average or t-count on farming system of 4:1 „Jajar Legowo‟ cropping pattern system and conventional cropping pattern system. Revenue gained from 4:1 „Jajar Legowo‟ cropping pattern system amount to Rp.22.251.527,-/ha/season, whereas the conventional cropping pattern system revenue of Rp.17.929.847,- /ha/season. The value of r/c ratio on 4:1 „Jajar Legowo‟ cropping pattern system 2,80, whereas in conventional cropping pattern system 2,47. The calculation results show that „Jajar Legowo‟ cropping pattern system relatively more efficient compared with conventional cropping pattern system. There are differences in farm income system of 4:1 „Jajar Legowo‟ cropping pattern system and conventional cropping pattern system.
