Abstract
The word biodiversity refers to the variety of living organisms. Biodiversity or Biological diversity is defined as the variability among all living organisms from all sources, including terrestrial, marine and other aquatic ecosystems and ecological complexes of which they are part. Agrobiodiversity is the result of natural selection processes and the careful selection and inventive developments of farmers, herders and fishers over millennia. Agricultural biodiversity, also known as agrobiodiversity or the genetic resources for food and agriculture, includes: Agrobiodiversity is the result of the interaction between the environment, genetic resources and management systems and practices used by culturally diverse peoples, and therefore land and water resources are used for production in different ways. Organic agriculture is thus committed to the conservation of biodiversity within agricultural systems, both from a philosophical perspective and from the practical viewpoint of the maintaining productivity.
