Abstract

This article highlights the evolution of the first Romanian school in Braşov and the contribution of the Orthodox Church, together with the rulers of Moldavia and Wallachia to its establishment. The in-depth analysis of the documents found in the first Romanian School Museum’s archives, as well as academic research on this subject lead to the conclusion that Romanian - taught education in Braşov has been established and developed in close collaboration with the Orthodox Christianity
